Past IFYE Conference

The 2006 National IFYE Conference held August 23-27, 2006 at the Sheraton, Colorado Springs was overall a huge success. Thanks to everyone who worked so hard before, during and even after the conference. We have heard only positive comments back on the conference. Everyone loved their tours, activities, and speakers most of all. Hopefully everyone is feeling better from their minor ailments. We raised almost $15,000 for our service project fundraisers. We ended up with almost 250 full and part time registrants, so did a good job of taking over the Colorado Springs area. Our overall profit from the conference ended up at about $500, so can’t come much closer to breaking even. We are all looking forward to relaxing in Oregon this year and other states for the years to come. Again, thank you so much to everyone that helped in any way with the conference planning and execution. Look for a great write up in the national newsletter from Mel Thompson as well.
