Recognition
Programs
The IFYE
Association Vice-President shall notify every state each year
to search for appropriate recipients to assist the IFYE Association
in recognizing individuals, groups or organizations which in
volunteer capacity have exhibited leadership that has inspired
program participants to promote international development and
understanding. Awards are presented in 3 categories.
Category
A:
Friend of IFYE
The recipient(s) should have exhibited outstanding guidance
to exchange participants and furthered additional interest in
the Association and in IFYE programs beyond that required by
the nature of their position or job responsibility.
Category
B:
Certificate of Commendation for Contributions
to International Understanding.
The Association recognizes individuals, groups and organizations
who have significantly contributed to International development
and understanding. The recipient(s) should exhibit leadership
qualities and a desire for international understanding.
Category
C:
Outstanding Contributions by IFYE Alumni
The Association will recognize IFYE alumni who have made outstanding
contributions to IFYE Programs. (Alumni are only eligible for
Category C awards.)
